If you haven’t read my last post, please do so now or you may not know what the heck I’m talking about! The title of the post was “Who Doesn’t Know What A Squeeze Page Is?”

Okay let’s get right into it…

In my last article I was talking about squeeze pages and how James Grandstaff did a survey of about 500 people on his list to see just how many of them had heard of squeeze pages.

The results astounded me!

Only 68% of those surveyed knew what a squeeze page was, let alone what squeeze pages could do for their business. I hope you got to take a look at one of James’ squeeze pages so you can see just how powerful they are. But that’s not the reason for this article.

What I want to tell you about is a little known traffic generation tactic that very few people are using today. This guy is getting over 600 visitors to his squeeze pages every hour with his new system! When I first read that “I thought… what a bunch of bull”. Of course I would never tell James that because I know him…but 600/hour? Can you image what that kind of free traffic can do for your business?

I’m sure you want to know how he does it, just like I did!

Okay… I won’t keep you in suspense any longer. He uses >> TRAFFIC EXCHANGES <<

So what are traffic exchanges? Good question…let me try to give you a brief overview.

Basically, Traffic Exchanges are a free medium whereby members of the exchange agree to view other members websites for 10-20 seconds in exchange for a traffic credit. The idea being, that as members are surfing or viewing other members sites they may come across one that spurs their interest and they visit that site and either sign up for what they’re offering, buy their product or just go onto the next site.

Sounds simple enough, but what do you get for those traffic credits that you earn as you look at the various site of other members?

In each of the exchanges that you belong to, which by the way are all free, you can exchange your credits for views of your bannner, squeeze page or sales page. In other words it’s like a cooperative exchange where “you scratch my back…I’ll scratch yours”. Everybody wins!

So now you have a general idea of what traffic exchanges are, but how is James Grandstaff getting 600 visitors per hours to look at his squeeze pages?

First off…he only uses squeeze pages on traffic exchanges - nothing else!

His thoughts are… “If people are interested in what I’m offering (usually a free ebook), I ask them for their name and email address in exchange for the ebook. That way I can develop a relationship with them through emails when they get on his list and hopefully I can sell them something of value in the future.”

Now here’s where it gets interesting…

We can all get signed up for traffic exchanges and start submitting our squeeze pages, but it is time consuming because I tried to do it one at a time. I thought… “how the heck am I going to get enough traffic credits to exchange for 600 views per hour of my squeeze pages”?
